EU employment down and rising social concerns
The latest EU Employment and Social Situation Quarterly review released
today by the European Commission shows that, after a moderate labour
market recovery which lasted until the middle of 2011, European
employment is down again.

TOMORROW unions and employer organisations could be headed for a

November 2010. The unemployment rate was 9.8% in November 2011, also
unchanged compared with October. It was 9.6% in November 2010
